Little Comets are an English indie rock band with an interesting sound. They’re a bit all over the place as far as genre goes, but that versatility is highly sought after these days and definitely not a bad thing. I like to think that they are a mixture of some of the parts of other alternative bands like Alt-J and electronic bands like MGMT and Passion Pit. In their new single “Salt,” there’s aggression and tenacity, from both the passionate singing and lyrics to the pulsating guitar that radiates throughout. “Salt” is from Little Comets’ new EP Salt and It’s Gentle Corollary, which was released in June.
